Important Dates

Hello all! Some more information for you with second semester under way!

All calendars have been sent home for the remainder of the season. Please let us know if you have any questions. It is extremely important that all cheerleaders be at every event AND practice and if they are unable to make it, coaches need to be notified as far in advance as possible. Thank you for helping with this.

   

Basketball season is here! As with football season we will allow those that need rides to text out prior to 4^th quarter. If they are planning on staying at school in-between practices and the games, please remind them to have all game day items packed. There will be concessions available but they may want to pack a light snack as well. If there are any cancelations due to weather, we will communicate those ASAP. Please let us know if you have any questions. Just a reminder, per district weather policy, even if school is cancelled we may still have a game that evening. We always try to communicate this as soon as we know. Senior Night is scheduled for February 5^th during halftime of the Varsity Game. We would like for all cheerleaders to be in attendance and all escorts to arrive no later than 7pm.

The banquet is scheduled for March 6^th. More information will be sent as it gets closer and invitations will be sent home in February. If you would like to be involved in the planning and decorating process, please let Coach Mayabb know. 

Tryouts are scheduled for the week before Spring Break, March 11^th-15^th. Tryout packets will be sent out in February. Please email Coach Mayabb with any questions.

Grade checks will begin on January 21^st. In order to be eligible to cheer, you must be passing all classes. Our GPA goal for all cheerleaders is to be above a 3.0 at all times. Grades are a part of the tryout process as we encourage all cheerleaders to be students first.
