Oak Park Cheerleading 2018 Camp Information

Hello! We will be attending a 4-day UCA commuter camp at the Adams Mark Hotel (9103 E 39th St, Kansas City, MO 64133) Thursday- Sunday. The cheerleaders will have one night off (either Friday or Saturday- this will be communicated as soon as we receive the official camp schedule). 

On Thursday we will meet at Oak Park at 10:25am to catch a 10:30am bus. Please make sure you have eaten breakfast and pack a lunch. There will be time to eat as soon as we get through registration (around 11:30am). We will return to Oak Park around 8:45pm that evening. We will have all cheerleaders communicate return times as soon as we load the bus to leave. On Friday and Saturday morning please meet at Oak Park at 6:55am to catch a 7am bus, Sunday will be 7:55am. Parents, family and friends are invited to attend the showcase on Sunday morning. We will communicate the best time to arrive once we receive the schedule (usually about 9:15am). Once the showcase and all awards are complete, you will be able to take your cheerleader home. Please fill out and detach the bottom portion (a bus will still be available for those who want/need it).

**Monday- Worlds of Fun -Bus will load and leave Oak Park at 10:30am, we will leave Worlds of Fun at 4pm. We will have the cheerleaders in groups with a leader for each and one mandatory check in during the day. Please bring your own money for lunch and sunscreen if you need it!

What to wear?

·     Thursday-Navy camp shorts with the teal shirt and white bow

·     Friday-Black camp shorts with the coral shirt and white bow

·     Saturday-Navy camp shorts (please wash Thursday night) with the grey v-neck and navy bow

·     Sunday-Uniform (Navy-navy and Columbia-OPHS), Navy will wear their white bow and Columbia their navy bow

-      this does include the liner and spandex as well, please remember to wear white no show socks everyday

What to bring?

·     A water bottle (preferably your Oak Park bottle- you may still purchase an Oak Park Cheer water bottle)

·     Poms- everyday!

·     Any medicine or tape you may need

·     Buddy gifts (Gatorade, snack, good luck note)

·     Any additional snacks you may want (we will provide food for dinner Thursday- all meals Friday and Saturday, with the exception of the night off, and breakfast on Sunday). 

·     SPACE JAM RALLY OUTFITS - Teams are encouraged to dress for the rally's theme. Here are some outfit ideas: Aliens, planets, metallics, galaxy prints, astronauts and anything and everything out of this world!
